Eucalyptus oil helps btw (with mice, not Rats): put some on a wad of cotton wool or a piece of cloth in a corner of each room, and the next day top up and put a second one in the diagonal corner, 3rd day top up the first two and add a third corner. I know the smell is intense, but apparently, the mice hate it |
