| Comment | Yes that would be great. For the next couple of weeks the city will become a car and bus desert from what I can see. Glasgow has a huge issue with high car volumes in the city centre and far too close to pedestrians. It's time for change. Even a street like Sauchiehall Street which was redesigned to be slow moving and pedestrian friendly is a disaster. Cars illegally parked from top to bottom, pedestrians cannot see the oncoming cars because of this and maniac drivers who ignore the 20mph speed limit.The people have had enough. The issue has arisen due to main arteries like the M8, the Clydeside Expressway and the Broomielaw running through the city. |
