| Comment | There's an old lady in the 1994 BBC drama, Takin' Over the Asylum, called Nana (as she na-na's along to the Eastenders theme tune) who is just thought to be speaking in tongues, but it turns out she is actually Latvian. She ended up on the streets after her daughter -who was the one who communicated for her- had died. Then she was put in the asylum. Sounds similar. |
