| Comment | Agreed. But it depends on how you look at it. I can think of lots of things that were better here before. I can also think of things that are much worse. Some of it is down to times just changing (less variety of shops like good department stores, for example) and some of it is down to sheer negligence, lack of funding, inept governance (much worse drug problems, woeful transportation.) In general, I'd say things are shite compared to fifteen years ago. |
