Comment | Oh I totally understand the frustration you must be feeling. I used to be a retail manager, and every shop we had, had a ramp situated behind the shop door so we could grab it and assist people coming in or out of the shop. As you say, obtaining one isn't that hard, so I don't see a problem either. Before the access was installed at the office I was at, we had wheelchair clients having to sign official documents outside in the street, or make arrangements to meet with them in their home or a cafe somewhere (if chair friendly). I am not a wheelchair user, but I get so annoyed at society expecting everyone to function the same way, and those who can't get left to struggle along as best they can. |
