| Comment | Additionally with PIP they can apply for an Nimbus card which will make access to museums etc cheaper if offered (and will generally allow a free carer if required). They don't need to get this card but gig venues, theatres and a lot of other places accept it as proof of disability/entitlement.
It's 20 quid for 3 years but worth getting. It can also be used in shops if the person can't queue for a long period of time to access the accessible checkouts. |
