| Comment | If I had known the timing chain needed to be serviced, I would have done it. But I think because it slipped it bent the valves, and who knows what happened with the cylinders. I really never got to drive it much. My plan was to do a service asap but I never had the chance.
I remember researching about these Skodas (especially in their forum BriSkoda - MK2 fabias), and it was mostly saying that the timing chain problems are more related to the diesel engines, that the HTP 1.2 is "bombproof". |
