They are very much about letting people live their lives and only need to support folk because the right is constantly trying to fuck with them. You think the trans issue would be a big deal if the right didn’t care and was open to letting people do what they want? This is a classic right wing tactic of finding a social wedge issue, trying to clamp down on rights of those people, and making the left defend them. Doesn’t mean the left should just ignore it and let people be marginalised though. |
