| Comment | Glasgow hosted the 2018 European Road Cycling Championships and regularly hosts the UCI track cycling champs too. As for bringing all the disciplines together, it also has the Commonwealth Games (which had road, track and mountain) as evidence of capability.
So I think putting this down to inside men is doing the city a bit of a disservice, we've a good record of a range of cycling events, and the proximity of world-class mountain biking to urban areas is a massive plus in our favour. |
