I done my big bike license with Harley’s and I wouldn’t recommend them.

Bikes were old. Comms often broke down during lessons resulting to having to return to base to change them, meaning you lost a decent bit of lesson time and they were reluctant to give that time back. I remember one time I was continuing straight for a while as I heard no instruction and the trainer rode ahead and guided us to pull over and had a bit of a go at me because I wasn’t listening 😂 comms were obviously broke, and that was within 10 mins of leaving.

Twice we went to the test Center to use the Mod 1 area to practice (my main reason for choosing Harley’s as not many companies had access) both times closed and ended up in a car park in Hillington using bricks and old cones to practice.

Twice During lessons near my test did the 500 start misfiring (once not my bike but the guy was struggling to ride it so they asked me to try nurse it back) again lost time that they were extremely reluctant to give back.

On my actual test I passed and the instructor said they had to rush back to base and I’d have to either ‘keep up’ or find my own way back. Dunno what would have happened if I’d had failed.

All in all, Bikerite who I done my CBT with seemed like a Far better company.

That was about 12 ago so they may have improved though.
