That panorama episode is a complete farce. The dude lied to all the private clinics about his symptoms then was honest with the NHS doc, of course the last one didn't diagnose him. All clinics are following the same NICE guidelines which is why he could so easily game the system, but choosing to do that only with the private clinics doesn't prove anything except that they are following NICE guidelines.

The NHS doc from that episode also had stuff to say about what the real issues are: NHS underfunding, lack of ADHD awareness, and underdiagnoses.
