The NHS has been telling people with ADHD/ASD they have nothing wrong with them for years and refusing them support past anti anxiety meds or anti depressants. It's tragic that people had to raise awareness of these conditions and advocate for themselves. That was the NHS's job as the supposed health care provider to the people of this country.

Private clinics operate off the exact same NICE guidelines the NHS do and are usually staffed by people who work in ADHD/ASD for the NHS too. Most NHS specialists are only part time and have other private sector clinics.

The reality is this problem is one the NHS has spent years creating, and the media has tried to hide by blaming people seeking help. The NHS are not the victims.
