| Comment | They don't have he ability to yet. Need the Scottish Parliament to pass the Scottish govt's new transport bill. It contains necessary changes to Scottish law to allow councils to takeover/part run bus services should they wish to.
Currently against UK law for cities apart from London to do this. Scot parl needs to pass this bill to give GCC the power.
The city buying the buses is another question, but it comes after they get the powers.
