| Comment | Not making the effort is one thing (although, I disagree, I work with foreigners every day and I think people in Glasgow make much more of an effort than people in, say, London - but sometimes people here genuinely don't know that they are difficult to understand)., But not having the ability to change is another - the content I originally replied to was asking if people here don't have the ability to change their accent, which is ridiculous.
It's like saying, do English people not have the ability to learn to say "loch" properly? They do. |
