The infrastructure is a joke, it’s cardboard held together with chewing gum (Google it, you’ll see the amount of disasters they’ve had in recent memory).
Have you seen the average living conditions of a Chinese person? Coffin sized flats for a fortune where you’ll inhale leaded petrol from the motorways below.
The reason the students here, decked out in Gucci and Off White, leave again isn’t because they dislike the place, funnily enough it’s because they’re at the top end of the economic food chain back home. If you lived in Shettleston the city (I.E. Tianjin) you’d leap at the opportunity to live here. |
