Comment | I did this last year, and for me it was worthwhile. I had my issues with how the course was sold, and there were some serious deficiencies with some elements of the teaching (mostly that the lessons were clearly outdated) and in the equipment provided (renting one of their macbooks was a huge mistake - I expected better than a 2015 model machine for how much they charged). The careers pipeline side was clearly DOA even at that stage, and that was a core plank of their business strategy - if a partnered business hired via their framework, the business paid 10% of the new developer's first year's salary to codeclan as a hiring bonus.
I feel so sorry for the instructors and for anyone who was enrolled. None of them will be getting much back after the liquidation process has ran its course 😕 |
