Some drivers pay emissions tax, but lots of newer cars have low or zero emissions so their drivers don't pay it either, and it doesn't all pay for the roads. It goes to central government, along with income tax, and some of all of that pays for the roads, along with council tax.
So we all pay for the roads, including the cyclists you disdain (and many of those drive too) |
