These maps aren't accurate though. For example a lot of Hillhead is shown as local access only however they completely closed the top end of Byres Road yesterday which is shown as a doted line on the map and the Creswell Street access in effect closing all access to Hillhead. There were dozens of workmen and cars stuck in that area for hours before they opened the cordon. I get why they had to do this but they didn't say they were going to do it. |
