They would have to pay £60 to take it to sheriff court in Scotland then even if it was possible to transfer the debt to the US, they’d have to pay legal costs in the US, neither of which can be recovered from you. That would cost way more than £100.
They will send threatening letters hoping you’ll get scared and pay, and nothing else will ever happen. |
