| Comment | I used to work in a book shop, and several people asked me out - as long as it's done in a pleasant, respectful, relaxed way, I genuinely didn't mind.
One was a guy working nearby who offered to be my lunch buddy, another one had bought and written a card that he left on the check out , which had his phone number and asked me if I ever wanted to meet for a coffee or dinner. One guy actually bought me flowers (red roses) and that was not ok (i was seeing someone at the time so I found the choice of flowers a bit presumptuous).
I ended up being friends with lunch buddy guy because he was the only one who was happy to hang out as pals (like I said, I was in a relationship) |
