Start learning a new skill - recently I’ve been getting tutored in maths and I plan to take my advanced higher (I’m 35!) next year. Surprisingly good fun.

As you’re in the arts i suggest doing your own zero budget short film. You’ll never get it finished in 4 months but why not have a go at writing the script? Talk to your friends about who’d be up for helping with what. I’m sure you know how difficult getting a film made is. Start organising your team for the key positions.

Consider widening your network. Trip to London or if you can afford it LA.

I love painting so when i wanted a break I’d leave for Europe and paint my way around some new spots. Or tour the art galleries. Expensive but those experiences were priceless to me.
