| Comment | Took my kids for dinner in town, walking to get the Queen Street to Charing Cross train, annoyingly the Scotrail App did that thing where you get a ticket reference to pickup instead of a scannable ticket but there was 1 minute to catch the train, told the lady at the gates and she let me though. Got to Charing Cross and told the guy what happened.
Wouldnt let me (with my 2 small kids) through the gate, said he was phoning Queen Street to verify then said that he had asked everyone at Queen Street and they all said nobody had been let through the gate. I showed him transaction for me paying the bill at the restaurant on Queen Street 8 minutes before the train and he just kept saying I was lying and tried to get me to buy tickets from Edinburgh (I obviously didnt).
Irritating end to the day, all the people in there are usually so nice as well that made it more annoying. |
