Thay have become more and more extreme lately and pretty much trying to frighten people into accepting Jesus or whatever.

Unfortunately we have freedom of speech but you can still call the cops on them for being a noise nuisance and at least get them told to turn the volume down. I sucessfully did that a few summers ago.

More recently the preaching turned very threatening and homophobic. Basically stating that god will protect you from being attacked and murdered on your way home in the early hours of the morning if you accept him. The same was said for gay people. I called the cops again. When the cops arrived a group of folk all approached the police and told them that they were unhappy at what was being said. It could have been construed as a threat and could have been a section 38 breach of the peace.

There is also this African guy who used to appear, very eloquent but still spouting out shite. When I was cycling along the cycle path at Yoker a couple of weeks ago I seen him walking on the path shouting like a man possesed down the phone to someone. It was obviously someone who was a non-beliver and the preacher was trying to force him to change his/her ways. I started my GoPro being a nosey bastard to capture what he was saying. I heard comments like:

Where can you run?

Where can you hide?

I am in the air.

I control the air.

I am the lord of the air.

I will strike you down.

In the name of Jesus I command you.

I arrest you.

I command you.

I cut your wings.

If I see him again at George Square I might play the video for all to see haha.
