| Comment | So I'm in NHS Lanarkshire. They do not have a Mental Health service. Consequently they pass the buck to NHS GG&C, or NHS Stirling. Utterly ridiculous. I am 48 and was told I would never be considered for an adult ADHD assessment, because I have "managed this far to live life, raise children and get up everyday". Never mind that I've struggled mentally for as long as I can remember and have had numerous breakdowns and suicide ideation. I'm very fortunate that I got my diagnosis privately. Mental health services were crap before the pandemic and they're worse now |
