| Comment | Thank you. It was 26 years ago, but I have never really got over it. A lot of Christians just come out with platitudes and tired old "explanations", when absolutely none of us really know why anything happens. I consider myself a Christian, but I am very Liberal and very honest. I don't have answers and I would never try to explain away anyone's hurt with a trite old saying or a bible verse. I worry about this rise in right wing, conservative Christian groups who are dragging us all back to the 19th Century. And this guy who is preaching in the street has lost touch with reality!! |
