| Comment | I note the wait time has increased drastically since 2021. I'd be interested to know what they were like pre-lockdown. Lockdown actually lowered waiting times, or at least that was the experience of a couple of people I know who were waiting for MH diagnoses.
In both cases, the move to online appointments sped up the assessments to a staggering degree. One was seen and diagnosed over a year sooner than he'd initially been told. Staff said it was down to them getting through the face-to-face meetings online far quicker than they had been in person. |
