When I first went out into the world after school and college, my parents and grandparents all told me I was hurting my chances by putting the school name on my CV.
I don't know how much it did actually hurt my chances, but when I think about it now, they might have been right. Almost every CV I sent out might have been rejected at a rate of nearly 50% depending if it landed on the desk of a catholic or a protestant. |
