Apart from the main part with the pleasure beach and the tower, the rest of it is 2/3 boarded up and the remaining units are bead and breakfasts, pubs, massage parlours and grotty amusement arcades.
Many years ago it was great but when holidays abroad became affordable the number of visitors dropped and has been in decline ever since. There are high levels of drug taking, poverty and unemployment. |
