| Comment | I'm an American that grew up a little north of NYC and also happened to live in Linvale in Clydebank. I'd get a little laugh when It was referred to as the Bronx because it's a bit far off lol. Mostly just poor/middle class families, bit of gang presence, but not a place I was ever worried about. Although I'd walk home through Whitecrook at night and thought the same until someone told me it was super shady. It just seems like a place you are fine if you mind your own business which is not necessarily true of parts of the South Bronx. |
