Telling women that they are safe "nowhere" in Glasgow is ridiculous fearmongering though. Attacks by strangers are pretty rare on the whole, and if you're dividing it up into women and men (which they were doing) then actually women are least at risk in those two categories. Go into homes and the risk pattern flips. |
