Asking for money over the phone and Western Union being involved. Definitely a scam.
If the Home Office start a legal investigation they are not going to ask for money.
I’d start with doing an Experian credit lock right now and report it to the police also. That way if anything untoward should come up with your information a report is on record. They will also be able to give you advice on some steps to take. |
