I had the same situation a few years ago living in haghill it was actually 2 flats below me but I could hear it clear as day.
Fortunately somebody booted the door in and smashed their alarm to bits. When the neighbour (who was an arsehole) got home and seen their place had been broken in to and their alarm smashed they called the police who came out about a week later and asked the people in the close if we knew anything about it and as far as I can tell when no one did that was the end of that. |
