Yes. I absolutely would. I used to jog in Glasgow Green in the evening, year round, saw plenty of women out jogging. I never once came to harm and my mum or sister (or my daughter) would be statistically very much less likely to come to harm than me. I want my daughter to live a full life with a sensible approach to risk. I don't want her to be afraid of jogging in the city in the same way I don't want her to be afraid of crossing the road. That is, understand the risks but don't live in fear of them. Just look at the number of female joggers you see out and about in the city...the vast, *vast* majority of whom come to no harm.

Are there *certain places* in Glasgow I wouldn't jog? Sure. Would I discourage others from jogging in those same places? Probably.
