| Comment | yes, they are SOME nice bike routes being built in Glasgow in recent years. But much more crappy ones. Like the one they placed along the London road, where they fixed some plastic bollards that were gone in the week, ignored cars parking on it, and worst of it all, the cycle lane disappear at junctions, where cyclists are the most vulnerable.
I left Glasgow last october, but by this point the cycling experience was worst than I remember from 1990's Poland and I don't think it got much better since last year
I have moved to Helsinki now and cycling here is a paradise compared not only to Glasgow but also to today's Poland (which went a long way over last 30 years). |
