| Comment | I would be interested to know what hotel you were expecting to stay in, as I'd never imagine that driving to and parking in a city centre hotel car park would be feasible, particularly if you were planning on coming and going multiple times over the weekend.
The UCI events are ongoing at the moment so the City is busy, difficult to navigate and hotels are more expensive - would you not have been better going nearer to where your family is and taking the train/bus into town to meet folk from elsewhere, if necessary?
This whole story sounds like a nonsense tbh - how much shopping and socialising were you expecting to do with kids in tow? I'm assuming, btw, that you're traveling as a lone parent, given your regular posts on r/bumble. |
