| Comment | I'd get advice from your solicitor on this - if you've had contact with the council and/or police on this issue then you might be required to declare it to the buyer before completion. As it's going to be pretty evident to the buyer that there is an issue as soon as they move in, you can't just feign ignorance and hope nobody mentions anything, as you may end up having the sale reverted and having to pay costs, putting you in a worse situation than before. |
