| Comment | Not a devolved matter, so not much the Scottish Government can do about it in terms of their legality, or even safe consumption rooms, etc., something they'd rather have. For the UK Government (and the Labour opposition) it's an ideological issue not rooted in facts, science or data at all. A lot of voters are complete morons, there's a batshit crazy right wing press that politicians pander to and there's whatever vested interests the selfish bastards have as well.
