In my experience you need to get on stuff right away. Set up a Rightmove notification. Organise a viewing immediately and phone the estate agent as soon as you're out then viewing. Some estate agents are shitty about renting to students, Clyde won't do it at all and Fineholm will require a guarantor. Side note, try to avoid Fineholm, bunch of useless roasters.
