You really shouldn't be downvoted for this.

Sure, in a budget sense, and in a technical sense, IT is both your developers (Software Engineering) and your support team (Information Services)

But in the - much broader - colloquial sense, IT is definitely 'the guy who helps you fix the printer' (which is really IS, not IT)

It's like the difference between a Scientific Theory and 'I have a theory'
