I don’t believe the place should be closed but there has to be more scrutiny of the operations at that venue. I cycle there all the time and the staff seem to think it’s acceptable to close the road and erect makeshift barriers. They spend a lot of time turning away members of the public from Eastvale Place which is the public highway. Who knows how the business owners from the arches feel. The alternative is to walk further along the expressway cycle path and into a sea of piss and broken glass. No fuck is given from the staff in regards this issue. I have seen drug dealing / pill swapping round there out of sight of the bouncers. Also if you are lucky you won’t get pulverised by a taxi flying down Kelvinhaugh Street to drop off folk. |
