| Comment | I've never known a gay to be offended at someone calling a cigarette a fag, half my lgbtq+ friends call them fags as opposed to cigarettes. Could be because of the different association, when people call the Chinese a "Chinky" for example there is the linked connotation as the shop has people of that ethnicity, there is no link between being a gay and a cigarette. |
