| Comment | I wouldn't say these two examples are comparable. Vikings came from all over Scandinavia which has changed politically over time, so hard to link them directly to modern day Norway; whereas Glasgow Uni is an identifiable institution which benefited directly from donations from slave owners. Seems like a positive course of action to me, especially given the current political climate. |
