Comment | That isn't always possible, some people work till certain times them have to run out for a doctors appointment, if they get the train there should they miss that by 30 minutes because they couldn't but a ticket beforehand?
Even if it's heading out, suggesting someone spend 30 minutes waiting instead of just getting on and buying a ticket on the train is horrendous.
How about if I am taking my nephew to town, I can't buy a £1 child accompanying adult ticket for him at a machine, should we therefore not take advantage of the offer because we don't live near a staffed station? |
