Comment | Have a look at; https://www.camhs-resources.co.uk
It has links to lots of reliable mental health and well-being resources.
Thespark.org.uk is also available, although I don’t know much about it
Mind.org has been helpful for me in the past. And I know they do stuff for young people
None of these are Glasgow specific (the Spark do have counselling available for people in Glasgow and Edinburgh), but all are online so easily accessible. Information is free. Some offer counselling for free. Others you need to pay for some of the services but generally lower cost than going to private psychiatrists or similar. Some have telephone hotlines for advice, including for crises. The helplines can be for your teen to use, or for you for support and advice
Lifelink in Glasgow is a mental health charity. They do some stuff for 11-18year olds. I’ve used them as an adult in the past and found them helpful. Their website also has podcasts about relaxation techniques and grounding exercises which I found useful for anxiety. They take practice so the podcasts are useful to walk you through them, so you can learn to use the technique without them when it’s needed. |
