We get nowhere near as exited about halloween as America. You treat it like a whole holiday. An adult in the UK could potentially go through 31st Oct and be totally oblivious that it is halloween.

I haven’t seen any trick or treating going on around my way for several years. A lot of people probably wouldn’t even answer their door. Last few years I’ve mainly heard of parents taking their kids to organised halloween parties.

People showing up at the office with outfits or even the girls just putting on cat ears etc is rare.

There are very few streets with houses full of decorations. You usually get one mad random bastard that goes OTT and ends up in a local newspaper somewhere.

There will be some nightclub parties and special events over the halloween weekend but even that is not as popular as it once was.
