That’s helpful, but it can also lead you to places where mushrooms will never grow.
OP - I try to lookout for fields with sheep in them that are generally:
- Low lying/flat or on a gentle slope.
- Near or adjacent to a water source, e.g. a burn or pond etc.
- Not in areas where most of the soil comprises peat.
