And shawlands was not a junkie hotspot never has been. 90% of the people in shawlands were working class office workers, then BAM 2019 comes along and then lockdown when litteraly hundreds of la-Dee-da types from down south came pouring into the area throwing money at the housing market, making the area now completely unaffordable for the very people who grew up there. |
