I’ve had similar and was unsuccessful, but if you used the auto location feature on the app, I’d try and suggest this was down to bad location settings, and see what they say. The online map isn’t that clear either.
I’d appeal - the ticket is frozen whilst under appeal so you don’t lose the 14 days to pay at £30.
