| Comment | The Edinburgh trains are kinda pointless unless you've limited mobility or got a lot of luggage/feeling lazy etc. They basically just go from Ayr (stopping at PYG of course) then stop at Glasgow Central, wait 10 minutes and then go back over the bridge again to Edinburgh. Goes quite a slow route too. I mind using it once and it stopped at one of the stations on the way for about 20/30 minutes to let other trains past. If you're able to it's quicker to get out and change to Queen Street. |
