| Comment | I used to think the same until until I spoke to a JH witness who had come to my door. I asked him what he would do if the kid he had with him got leaukemia. He stated that there were alternative treatments etc but the truth is the kid would probably need a bone marrow transplant. I told him this and I've never seen them again. If they genuinely wanted to save me would they not have came back? That kid would have no choice in his treatment, and if he were to be made a ward of the state what would happen to him after that?
It's a tricky situation. I have some sympathy, some of them may believe this or others may have fallen down the rabbit hole but they are actively spreading harmful information and/or having a negative impact on people who may be struggling with a decision that will affect the rest of their lives. How often do the consider this while trying to spread their message? Probably not as oftern as they should. |
